I had very relaxing time.
There were climate control and blinds in the room, truly enjoyed that. The food provided was delicious. The location of the property was amazing, down to the river. Every member of staff was incredible and welcoming.

Tranquil setting with lovely gardens and beautiful Portuguese architecture. Attentive and caring staff. Fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast sourced from a tree on the property. Fascinating attractions including a small family church, horse carriage, and game room. Stunning former palace steeped in history with spacious and elegant rooms. Immaculate bedrooms with stylish design. Spectacular views towards the mountains of the Peneda-Geres National Park. Short drive to beautiful coastline and sandy beaches. Delicious and perfectly presented breakfasts. Wonderful evening meals cooked by Rosario upon request. Remarkable kindness and helpfulness of each staff member. I chose this hotel for attending a team retreat and it provided everything we needed for a successful stay. The seasonal outdoor pool was a great spot for relaxation and team bonding. The meeting room was well-equipped and allowed us to have productive sessions. The library offered a peaceful and quiet space for individual work. The staff was accommodating and ensured a pleasant experience throughout.
The only service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center. It would have been convenient to have a space specifically designed for work-related tasks, such as printing, scanning, and accessing office supplies.
